Boyd Ellis Crawford

Keatchie, LA - Boyd Crawford, 70, went to his eternal rest on June 4, 2014 following a long battle with cancer. The family will receive friends between 5:00 and 7:00 PM, June 9, 2014 at Boone Funeral Home-Bossier. Full military honors will be presented at 6:30 PM. After 22 years of proud service, Boyd retired from the U.S. Army, and then later retired from LSU Medical Center. He loved woodworking, building things for his family, gardening, and travels with Rebecca. Preceding Boyd in death are his parents, Laular and Charles Crawford, and siblings. He is survived by wife of 18 years, Rebecca Crawford; son, Bobby Crawford and wife Sherri; daughter, Pattina Crawford; step-children, Nick Noe and wife Sheila, Trey and Alan Dion; six grandchildren; and best friend, Ray Day. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Christus Schumpert Cancer Center and especially to Dr. Scott Boniol.
