Bonnie Perez

Shreveport- Mrs. Bonnie Nugent Perez passed away Sunday, March 25, 2007 at her residence at the age of 83. Mrs. Perez retired from Bellsouth Telephone Co. after more than thirty years of service. Born in Winn Parish, her life took her to many locations during her time with her husband in the U. S. Air Force before settling in Shreveport. Mrs. Perez is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, CMSgt. Louis Perez, USAF Ret. and her parents, Charles O. and Florence Melton Nugent. Survivors include her nephew, James Ben Nugent and wife Charlotte of Saline, LA; great-niece, Bonnie Nugent Gremillion and husband Blake of Alexandria, LA; great-nephew, Matthew Nugent; sister-in-law, Doris W. Nugent; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends. Mrs. Perez chose to be cremated and interred with her husband in the Shreveport National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mrs. Perez's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
