Billie Jean Smith

May 27, 1928 – December 30, 2024

 Jean Smith went to be with the Lord on December 30, 2024 at the age of 96.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Erma Bernard; sisters, Juanita McClimas, Kay Langford and Polly Brown; husband, Marshall Smith; and son, Ronnie Smith.

She is survived by daughter, Frances Mann; granddaughter, Jackie Cavanaugh; grandsons, Jerry Mann, and Ryan Smith; step-grandson, Arran; eight beautiful great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. 

Her professional journey included working many years at Bossier Bank & Trust of Bossier City, LA.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and many beautiful memories where her laughter was always such a joy to hear.

Family and friends are invited to the graveside at Hill Crest Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
