Billie Evelyn Cook, 61, of Shreveport LA, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2024.

She was born September 29, 1962, in Shreveport LA to William and Ruby Giles  She attended Southwood High School.  She was a majorette and baton twirler at Cherokee Park.  She was at Dudley and Gerald's for most of her career.  Her passion was children, her family, and Food Network.  She loved dancing and country music.  Her dream was to open a Daycare Center named Dusk til Dawn.  She had an angelic spirit and an unforgettable soul.

She is preceded in Death by her parents William Giles and Ruby Giles, sisters Carol Gour and Christy Frazier, and Brother Ricky Hedrain.

She is survived by children Brandon Cook (Racy) and Destinee Hunter, sisters Rene Hicks (Andy) and Vivian Horton (Rodney), grandchildren Alif Cook, Brooklyn Valentine, Ian Giles, Maddilynn Hunter, and a host of Nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to special friends Michael and Trey for providing her with her last wish,  and the staff of Heritage Manor West for the last fourteen years of her life.
