Betty Skinner

Ruston - Graveside Memorial Services for Mrs. Betty Skinner will be held Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 1:00pm at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Oil City, LA. Mrs. Skinner passed from this life Sunday, March 4, in Ruston, LA. She spent her life caring for others as a nurse at Green Clinic in Ruston. She enjoyed caring for her flowers and opened her home to many stray animals. Preceding Mrs. Skinner in death are her son, Greg Norris; daughter, Wayna Wand; and grandson, Jeremiah Norris. She is survived by her husband, Doyle Dean Skinner of Ruston; daughters, Deborah Hylander of Shreveport and Dorothy Manning of Blanchard; brothers, Bill Miller and wife Betty of McHenry, IL, Robert Miller and wife Dottie of Chadwick, IL, and Ralph Miller and wife Helen of Paducah, KY; sister, Hazel Turnbow of Quincy, IL, and six grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to 4paws Rescue Mission of Ruston or the Humane Society.
