Barbara Gilmer

Barbara “Bobbie” Jackson Gilmer was born on July 26, 1952, and passed away from a sudden illness on November 12, 2024 at 72 years old. She was a lifetime resident of Bossier City. She is predeceased by her parents CW and Kathryn Jackson and her husband of 51 years, Michael L Gilmer.

She was a mother, grandmother & great-grandmother who was always there for the ones she loved offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. 

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Angela Gilmer, granddaughter Heather Negard, and the little boy that she thought hung the moon great-grandson Tristan Negard, two sisters and a brother.

Visitation and memorial service is at Boone Funeral Home on November 22, 2024.  Visitation will be 1:00-2:00pm and the service will be at 2:00 pm.
