Arnold Hawkins

Arnold L. ?Hawk? Hawkins Mooringsport, La Our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed away September 21, 2011 @ 2:00 PM. He was born in Laurel, MS on June 13, 1928. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Hawkins; parents; two brothers; two sisters and a nephew. He is survived by three daughters, Wanda (Lynn) Blanchard, Terri Castleberry and Lisa Slaton; a son, Steven L. Hawkins; three granddaughters; four great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters and a sister, Dorothy Hoag. During his earlier years Arnold worked in the electronics field for Tri-State-Dist. Co. and Interstate Electric Co. He was a member of Mooringsport Baptist Church. He will be sadly missed. A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2011, 1:00 PM in Centuries Memorial Park, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Scott Young. The family wishes many thanks and blessings to the caregivers of St. Joseph Hospice.
