Anthony Steven Lomas, also known as Tony, age 51, of Bossier City, Louisiana passed away on October 17, 2024 after a long battle of kidney disease.
Tony was born October 16, 1973 to Albert Lomas and Janice Coutee in Shreveport, Louisiana.
He was preceded to heaven by his father, Albert Lomas and his grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Lomas. Tony had 4 children of his own Ama Lomas, Jordan Lomas, Maria Lomas and Brandon Bennett. He also had 3 stepchildren, Brayden Jacobe, Noel Vanderford and Ixchel Vanderford. Tony had 3 brothers, Randy Lomas, Wesley Collins and Troy Callicoate. Also, would like to mention sisters-in-law Brandy Walsh with husband Scott Walsh, April Golden with husband Keith Golden, nieces Madeline Joynor, Gemma Kolb, Madison Golden and Kinsley Golden, nephews Landon Joynor, Aiden Kolb, Mason Wilder and Johnathon Golden and a very special friend Luis Felipe Magana. He had numerous family and friends.
Tony was such a family man. He loved his family more than can be imagined. He really enjoyed fishing, cooking together with his wife, and love a game of pity paty with his family. He was most happy when he was on vacation with his family in their favorited places of Arkansas and Florida. He loved to hike, go fishing, be on the hunt for Bigfoot and sit back and enjoy the sand and waves. Tony always showed up to family events where he graced us with his smile and goofy chuckle.
Tony was a deeply beloved husband, father, son, brother (in-law), uncle, cousin, and friend. Even though we were aware of sickness, his passing was sudden and unexpected.
Though we lost Tony, God gained a beautiful new angel who had many conversations with his wife about how he couldn’t wait to get to heaven and explored.
We would also like to give a big thank you to the people at Fresenius Dialysis Clinic for always taking such good care of Tony.
We will always carry your memories in our hearts, Tony. You will be deeply missed.
Special words:
There is a time to be born and a time to die. I didn’t get to say goodbye.
From the get togethers with family, bingo night, holidays and swimming in 2022.
I’ll hold these memories close because there’s no more without you.
You were my brother and I was Aunt Branny to you.
When I look into the sky, I’ll think of you.
They say God doesn’t let someone cross your path for no reason and now I know why.
May your life be a testimony to others as we say our goodbyes.
But it’s not goodbye, it’s see you later.
Love you Brother
