Anthony Auzenne

d. January 23, 2008

Services for Mason Auzenne will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at 10:00 am at Bellaire Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at Roseneath Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Boone Funeral Home, Bossier City, on Tuesday from 5-8 pm. Mason passed away Thursday, January 17, 2008, in Bossier City. He missed his 18th birthday by two weeks, being born on January 31, 1990, at Travis AFB, CA. Mason had much more ambition and willingness to learn and get things done than most people did his age. He would have gone very far in life doing whatever he was working on. Mason was a senior at Parkway High School. He attended Vo-Tech, taking both carpentry and welding classes, and bowled on Parkway's High School team. He also helped his dad run a few different companies here in town while he was stationed in Florida for the past few years. Mason enjoyed going fishing with his grandparents, loved football, and spending time with his mother. He will be remembered as someone you could depend on, and who would always make you laugh no matter what the circumstance. He is survived by his mother Shawn Gard; father and step-mother John and Y'anna Auzenne; sister Kaylea Auzenne; brothers: L'Jiraan and Caleb Strachan; grandparents: Kenneth Eugene and Jacque Gard, Mary Alice Auzenne, Crystal Cross, great grandparents Johnny and Janet Cross, aunts and uncles: Mitzi and Marty Rees, Greg Gard, James and Elena Auzenne; Joseph Auzenne, Sr. and Tiffany Auzenne, Alice and Oliver Thierry, Corlette and Ronald Pruitt, Quincy Richard, the graduating class of 2008 Parkway High School, cousins, and many other friends. His "Papa", John Mason Auzenne, Sr, preceded him in death. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Eugene Gard, Greg Gard, Stanley Williams, James M. Auzenne, Jr., Christopher Pruitt, and Oliver J. Thierry, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be L.J. and Caleb Strachan.
