Andrea Lea Van Veckhoven

Andrea VanVeckhoven, 43, Bossier City La, passed away on May 3, 2023 at 5:15 am.

The funeral service will be held at Open Road Fellowship at 6:30 pm on Friday, May 5, 2023. Pastor Raymond of Open Road Fellowship will be officiating.

Andrea was born in Shreveport on May 10, 1979. She graduated from C.E Byrd High School. Andrea was married to her beloved husband, Charles VanVeckhoven, for 16 short years.

Andrea worked as a purchasing assistant at McElroy Metal for five years along with helping her husband run his business. She enjoyed spending time with her children as well as her grandbabies. She was actively involved in her church, Open Road Fellowship. She loved wearing shirts that expressed just how proud she was to be Memaw.

Andrea is survived by her husband, Charles; children, Courtney, Kayleigh, Johnny, Breanna, Natalie, and Catherine; her grandchildren, Kohen, Kane, Stormi, Cayden, and Brantley; her parents, Loreace and Melvin; and Papa; lastly her sisters and brother, Sarah, Shae, Casey, Michelle and Andrew, her grandmother Donna.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Open Road Fellowship 780 Bodcau Station Rd, Haughton, LA 71037.

The family of Andrea VanVeckhoven wishes to thank Open Road Fellowship, Willis Knighton Bossier, and Boone.
