Allen Jones

Funeral Services for Allen P. Jones will be held 10:00, Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church, Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow in Forest Park Cemetery West. Officiating will be Rev. Step Martin and Rev. Rick Edmonds. The family will receive friends Monday, May 25, 2009 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church. Allen, known by his family as ?Pops?, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ following an accident. During his journey here he loved his family and especially his three grandchildren. In his spare time, he loved the outdoors and hunting. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Patsy; son, Brad Jones and daughter-in-law Kelley; daughter, Hope Batts and son-in-law Ryan; grandchildren, Austin Jones, Averie Jones and Mason Batts; mother, Jean Boudreaux; brothers, Jerry Jones and Bobby Jones; sister, Donna Jones; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
