Morgan Lester passed away after a long lengthy illness on January
9, 2009.
She was born on December.30, 1927 in Colorado City, TX to Annie Mary Lupton Morgan and to
James Beverly Morgan, Sr. She grew up in Stephens, Arkansas and was a dedicated retired school
teacher who taught in the Arkansas and Louisiana school systems for many years. She
was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Bossier City, LA.and has been a resident of Bossier City since 1977.
Along
with her parents, Mrs. Lester is also preceded in death by her husband, Keith
Lester who was a longtime realtor in Bossier City, LA., her 2 brothers, James B. Morgan,
Jr., and John Frank Morgan, Sr. She is
survived by her 2 loving children, her daughter Mary Ann Brasher of Bossier City, LA, and son Thomas Keith Lester, Sr.
of Fontana, CA, son-in-law Alan Brasher of Bossier City, LA, 4 grandchildren, Natasia Lester,
Karen Brasher, Thomas K. Lester, Jr., and Stephen Brasher, and many nieces and
nephews.
Family visitation
will be at Boone Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA Thursday,
January 15, 2009 from 6:30pm until 8:00pm. Graveside services will be at Stephens Cemetery in Stephens, AR on Friday,
January 16, 2009 at 2:00pm with the Rev. Cedrick Walters of Stephens, AR officiating.

are James Griffin of Hope, AR, Keith Gunter of El Dorado, AR, Bev Morgan of EL Dorado, AR, Bill Kostelka of Bossier City, LA, Stephen Brasher of Shreveport, LA, and Thomas K. Lester, Jr. of Fontana, CA.
In
lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the
Parkinson's Research Foundation and to the First United Methodist Church of
Bossier City.
