Willie A. Cobb, Sr. Princeton, LA - Mr. Willie A. Cobb, Sr. was born on April 4, 1941 in Natchitoches Parish and went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 2, 2011 following a sudden illness. Willie went into business for himself in 1988 being the proud owner of J & W Steel Erectors Inc. in Bossier City, LA. Willie took pride in his work, as well as he did his family and friends. If you knew Willie then you know he did not meet a stranger and there was not a soul on this earth he would not help if you needed it. You could get it from him if it was possible, even if it meant the shirt off his back. Most people recall how Willie had time for the other person and put them first, therefore by exercising patience, strength and humility. Willie was preceded in death by his mother, Susie M. Price Head; father, Leo Cleve Cobb; step mother, Alma Grace Cobb; aunt, Versielee Marie Clark (Sister Bert); two grandsons, Steven D. Lepp, Chayton Lane Lepp, and great grandson, Baxley Reese Cobb Willie is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years Julie M. Silas Cobb of Princeton, LA; five sons Paul David Cobb and wife Missy of Montgomery, LA, Dennis Lepp and wife Stephanie of Benton, LA, Willie A. Cobb Jr. of Princeton, LA, Randall E. Cobb and Melissa of Haughton, LA, Curtis L. Cobb of Princeton, LA; two daughters, Katherine F. Cobb Ingles and husband Eddie of Winnfield, LA, Deborah S. Cobb Young (Susie) and husband Charles of Haughton, LA; sixteen grandchildren, Dustin L Cobb, Hiedi R. Ingles Skains and husband Alex, Devan Ingles, Breana R. Cobb, Ashley L. Cobb, Crystal Lepp Blake, Justin Sepulvado Lepp, Shawna Jones, Christina G. Cobb Woods (Sam) and husband Kyle, Whitney D. Cobb, Savannah Clanin, Lyndsi B. Cobb Willis and husband Josh, Hayli A. Cobb, Randall E. Cobb Jr. (R.J), Katherine C. Young (Katie), Charles A. Young (Alex);six great grandkids, Branna Blake, Ella D. Skains, Kadyn K. Woods, Keian L. Robbins, Sebastian Willis and Callie Willis; three brothers, Marrian Shaw of Texas, William C. Cobb (Sonny) and wife Sharon of Princeton, LA, Jerry Cobb and wife Donna of Haughton, LA; seven sisters, Dorothy Morris, Katherine Ramsey of Benton LA, Josephine Jowaski of NY, Cleo Sweeney and husband Bobby of TX, Shelby Jean Hatten and husband Jerry of TX, Kerry Thibodeaux and husband Ronald of Bossier City, LA, Janice Turner and Rocky of Haughton, LA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday, May 05, 2011 at Boone Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Services will begin at 2 PM on Friday, May 06, 2011 in the Boone Chapel. Officiating will be Yankton Hatten and Jerry Silas (both nephews of Willie).
