Benton, LA Sydney Adelle Biedenharn, 62 passed away on the night of October 21st 2012 in North Louisiana after a fatal car accident. Born and raised in Shreveport, she is the youngest of four daughters of the late Jeanne and R. Zehntner Biedenharn. Born November 16th 1949, she had a powerful love of all things in nature. She graduated college in 1971 with a degree in fine arts and teaching, as well as a Masters in Administration. Sydney taught high school for 7 years, worked with her father at the Coca-Cola plant and was executive at Caddo Zetco Office Supply Company. Sydney?s extreme ?love of horses? was taken to the next level in the 1970?s after founding Zetco Arabian Farm and producing horses with both Canadian and U.S. Titles. Sydney was a very giving and compassionate woman and was Madam Chairwoman of the R.Z. Biedenharn Foundation which her father began in order to help those in need. Her love of nature and outdoors could rub off on anyone, spending a lot of her time outside planting and making things beautiful. She also had a passion for breeding German Shephards, peacocks, and the occasional fish. She had her first of three children in 1982 and was always a very loving, giving, passionate mother who was eager to see her children succeed. She believes that the Earth does not belong to us, we only have the privilege of borrowing it for a brief time. Love all elements of nature and above all else the creatures both great and small that share our world in its diversity. Sydney was an intelligent, beautiful, artistic and caring woman and she will be sorely missed by friends, family, and loved ones. Sydney was preceded in death by her parents, Jeanne and R.Z.
