Stephanie Minger

Stephanie L. Minger of Bossier City passed away July 30, 2012 at the age of 90. She was born 1-18-1922 in Youngstown, Ohio and was a 2nd generation immigrant from Ukraine. Stephanie was a devoted Air Force wife and mother. Working as a travel agent fulfilled her love of traveling. Lifelong interests included dancing, horse racing, playing Canasta and spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Wally. She is survived by 3 daughters: Janice Giddings, Carol Jester and husband Bobby, and Sheryl Holsted. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, her brother John Nestor and wife Theresa of Youngstown, Ohio and 5 nieces. Visitation will be held Friday, August 3, 2012 from 5:00-7:00pm at Boone Funeral Home in Bossier City with a memorial service on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 2:00 PM.
