Roger Beaver

Bossier City, LA Roger Edward Beaver, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, died on August 15, 2010 after a short illness at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife, Betty ( Lane) Beaver, children Scott Beaver, Tracy Kizziah, Stephen Beaver, Pamela Knippers, Paul Lane, and Michelle Ezernack, and numerous grandchildren. Roger was born on July 1, 1933 to George and Ruth Beaver in Columbus Ohio. He was the youngest of two boys, the oldest being George Beaver Jr. He graduated from Ohio State University and later went on to earn his masters degree; he also was a pilot in the U.S. Air Force. Roger?s love for racquetball and his amazing sense of humor will be greatly missed. He touched the lives of all who knew him, and inspired everyone to laugh every day. His wife, children, and numerous grandchildren will never forget his laid back personality and ability to make anyone smile. A memorial service will be held on Thursday August 19, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. The service will be held at Benton United Methodist Church. ?Love is a fabric which never fades, no matter how often it is washed in the water of adversity and grief.?
