Morris N. Rankin
Shreveport, LA Morris N. Rankin was born July 2, 1920 in Hot Springs, Arkansas and was raised there. He worked in his family's plumbing business until joining the Army Air Corp during WW II. He served until the end of the war.
He married Norma Dean Bradford of Hot Springs and moved to Shreveport where he continued to work as a plumber until his retirement. He passed away after a lengthy illness on January 16, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Norma Rankin; two daughters, Tammy Smith of Shreveport and Rana Frazier of Plano, TX.; three grandchildren, Kelley Nihill of Evans, GA., Natalie Swanick of Frisco, TX. and Ian Smith of Shreveport, and 3 great-grandchildren.
