Missy Ann Koelemay

Funeral services for Missy will be 3:00 PM, Friday, July 13, 2018, at Boone Funeral Home-Bossier.  The family will receive friends on Friday beginning at 2:00 PM until service time. 

Missy was born in Shreveport and passed away suddenly with her family at her side. Anyone that knew Missy understood that her sons were her life.  Every day they were the center of her world.  She was always thinking of others and never put herself first.  Her kindness included taking care of her parents and other relatives that lived close.   Because of her desire to care for others, she voiced her strong desire to be an organ donor, and many others will live through her generous donations. 

Left to cherish many memories are sons, Ryan Harper, Brandon Harper, Nicholas Koelemay, Nathaniel Koelemay, and Ethan Perez; grandson, Carter Jacob Sellars; mother, Sandra Tennant; sister, Tina Phillips and husband Eric Phillips; spouse, Daniel Koelemay; nieces, and other family members. Preceding her in death is her father, Roy Haley, and step-father Harold Tennant. 

Missy’s legacy is her sons. She went to her Heavenly home too soon but her memory lives on in those that knew her.
