Bossier City, LA Matilda Broussard, ?Tilly?, Stoer passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the age of 88. She was born June 22, 1924 in Elizabeth, Louisiana, the daughter of the late A. J. Broussard and the late Alma G. Broussard, who both served as Clerk of Court in Bossier Parrish, Louisiana. Tilly, or Tilly Rose as she was called in her younger days, graduated from Bossier High School in 1940 and attended Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana. She worked as a legal secretary, and in retail sales, eventually becoming a partner in the family business, Uniques, Ltd, in Bossier City. She is survived by her daughter, Jann A. Pittman and Jann?s husband David V. Ricciardelli of Little Rock, Arkansas; her granddaughter, Julie J. Gallagher of Shreveport who thinks that Tilly was the best grandmother in the world; two nephews, Bruce G. Johnson of Bossier City and Brent B. Johnson and wife Linda R. Johnson of Rowlett, Texas; and two great nieces, Kristen M. Johnson and Ashley R. Johnson both of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her loving sister, Adaz Broussard Johnson of Rowlett, Texas. As a dear family friend once said, ?Tilly was a true Southern Lady.? She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 4pm at Boone Funeral Home, 2156 Airline Drive in Bossier City.
