Marlene McClellan

Bossier City-- Funeral Services for Mrs. Marlene May McClellan, 82, will be held Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 11:00am at Boone Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dave Job and Rev. Dick Ivy officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery in Plain Dealing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Mrs. McClellan, a lifelong resident of Plain Dealing, found her peace in God's arms on Wednesday. She loved working in her garden, being in nature, and used her creativity helping others. Preceding her in death was her husband, James Travis McClellan. She will be missed by her son, Norvel G. Blaylock and wife Barbara; daughter, Nancy J. Hall and husband Rodney; grandchildren, Kris, Kristi, and Travis; four great-grandchildren; twin sister, Margene Tichane; brothers, Vernon May and Bobby May; and numerous nieces and nephews.
