Lisa Taylor Cowart, 47, of Shreveport, LA passed away November 24, 2015. Lisa was born November 10, 1968 in Houston, TX to Joe and Carol Taylor.
She enjoyed living life to the maximum. She loved to fish and camp, no matter the time of the year. She loved to be around campfires, listening to Conway Tweety, Johnny Cash, and all the old country music. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Clayton Cowart, two daughters, Shelby Taylor Moore and Haley Marie Cowart, and step daughter, Jennifer Cowart Dunman; her grandchildren, Dakota Taylor Moore, Bradley Nicolas Moore, Anna Cowart, and Walker Dunman. She is also survived by her mom and dad, Joe and Carol Taylor, her sister and her husband, Debbie and Jeff Thomas, brother-in-law and sister-in-laws Kevin and Diane Cowart, Karen and Jerry Davis, Duane and Lynn Cowart, Geoff and Jodi Cowart, Marsha and Robbie Willis, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Joe N. Taylor, Sr., James I. Byrd, grandmothers, Elma Bernice Taylor and Pearl Frazier Byrd; also by her mother-in-law Crystal Marie Cowart, her uncles, Donald Taylor, Charles Byrd, Lindsey Byrd, and her aunt, Dorothy Byrd, and by her cousin, Chad Bolton.
Arrangements are with Boone Funeral Home in Shreveport, LA for Saturday, November 28, 2015. Visitation will be at 10:00 am and service will be held at 11:00 am.
