Jessie Holmes

Mooringsport, LA-Mrs. Jessie Holmes passed away April 12, 2008, at North Caddo Medical Center in Vivian. She was born on September 8, 1924, in Warren, LA. Mrs. Holmes and her late husband, Henry owned Hwy. 1 Bar near Vivian for 20 years. She enjoyed doing ceramics and loved spending time on Caddo Lake fishing. Mrs. Holmes always had a smile and knew how to make others feel good. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry in 2000; as well as, two sisters: Maxine and Juanita. Surviving her is her son Ben Davis and his wife Judy; grandsons: James and David Davis; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
