Jeffory Brian Brooks

Jeffory Brian Brooks (Jeff), age 52, left this world much too soon on May 12, 2020 at his residence in Bossier City, LA, after a brief illness. A Celebration of Jeff’s life will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Boone Funeral Home, Bossier City, LA.

Jeff was born December 12, 1967, in Shreveport, LA.  He attended Airline High School in Bossier City.  Shortly after high school, he began a career in the restaurant service business in Monroe, LA.  His career with Brinker Corporation carried him to Alexandria, LA, Cape Girardeau, MO, Hot Springs, AR, as well as the Shreveport/Bossier City area.  After about twenty years in the business he returned to his hometown to be near family.  Jeff has a gift of making people laugh.  He was a very proud Dad and spent much of his time teasing, playing with, and entertaining those around him. 

Jeff is survived by his only son, Justin Brian Brooks of Columbia, LA; father, Dennis Brooks and wife Bonita of Grayson, LA; mother, Judy Williams of Haughton, LA; two sisters, Deidre Parker (DeeDee) of Haughton, LA, and Brandi Canterberry and husband Chris of Grayson, LA; four nieces, Brittney Paintin, McKenzi Canterberry, Shelbi Parker and Paisley Hopper; two nephews, Braylon Swim and Aiden Swim; and other family members and friends.

To say he was quite a character would be a total understatement.  He is gone but our memories of him will be with us forever.
