Jean Mary Broome

Jean Broome, 90, was born in Asbury Park, NJ, on February 16, 1926. She was the daughter of Nathan and Florene Lane. Lovely, sweet, and elegant, Jean was a naturally creative person. She began her lifelong appreciation for art and design in the fashion district of New York City. Jean's presence enriched the lives of her husband of 62 years, her family, and her friends. Jean's hand tailored dolls and crafts will be cherished by her loved ones for years to come. Her commitment to her community and church is exemplified by her volunteer efforts and her charity. This beautiful person will be loved and missed dearly. She is survived by a daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on July 1, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Boone Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana.
