She raised three children in Lovington: Jennifer Rymel David, Jason Rymel and Jamie Rymel. Jan met Kevin Culpepper in 1998 and moved to Bossier City. They were married in June of 1999.
Jan worked in the hospitality industry most of her adult life. After she moved to Bossier City, she managed restaurants including the original Murrells and Little Joe’s Bar and Grill. For the past 5 years, Jan managed TNT Sportsbar.
Jan was a great wife, mother and grandmother. She possessed a sweet spirit and was easy to love. Many friends will miss her dearly. Jan was a Christian, and her fondest hope during her illness was that she be an example of faith and trust in God. She urged all her visitors to reflect on their relationship with God, because you never know what is around the next corner.
Jan was preceded in death by her mother Ioleen Vincent and her father Dennis Batt, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Culpepper; children Jennifer Rymel David, Jason Rymel and Jamie Rymel and grandchildren Taylor David, Isaac Navarro, Rebekah Rymel, and Kayla Rymel.
