Gary Lancaster

Bossier City, LA ? Gary Lynn Lancaster, 49, died Tuesday, August 25, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully at home with the love of his family. Gary was born in Blytheville, AR but spent most of his life in Bossier City. He graduated from Parkway High School and loved to fish and hunt, especially with his brother Mark. Many fishing trips would end in Mark and Gary kidding each other on who caught the biggest or most fish. Gary was close to Mark and always looked forward to his visits. He is preceded in death by his twin brother, Kerry Lancaster. He is survived by son, Justin Lancaster; daughters, Jodi Lancaster, Jennifer Spurlock and husband J. Garrett; parents, Sarah and Harold Lancaster; brother, Mark Lancaster and wife Lisa; sisters, Patty Raney and husband Rick, Monica James and husband Kevin; grandchildren, Christian, Isabel and Peyton, and other family and friends. Memorial services for Gary will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, August 28, 2009 at Bellaire Baptist Church. Officiating will be Dr. F. Randy Harper.
