Celebration of homegoing for Henry Floyd Patton Sr. 78, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday November 15, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Keithville, LA. with Pastor Mike Stowell officiating. Family will receive friends at 12:00 noon prior to the services. He will be laid to rest at the First Baptist Church Keithville cemetery.

Floyd was born on November 6, 1940 in Sallisaw, OK. to Floyd Arthur and Mary Patton and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday November 12, 2018. During his life Floyd was a retired Superintendent and heavy equipment operator for the Caddo Levee District in Shreveport, LA. He loved to hunt, fish, play guitar, and travel. He was an active member and loved to serve at First Baptist Church in Keithville. He was a devoted husband to our loving mama of 58 years. He spent most of his time playing and loving his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was such a kind and generous man to everyone he met and always had a smile on his face.

He is preceded in death by his son Henry Floyd Patton Jr; parents Floyd and Mary Patton; and one brother Charles Patton.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife Evelyn Patton; two daughters Pam Mosner and husband David; Dalene Burford; Eight grandchildren, Bobby Bloxom and wife Pam, Kristi Stevens and husband Mac, Kaylin Waters, Kyle Waters, Jamie Burford, Floyd Patton III, Amber Patton, Whitney Stewart and husband Tucker; eleven great grandchildren, BJ, Hunter, Kimberly, Faith, Connor, Jayden, Erin, Ashton, Josie, Callie, and Kinley; twin brother Loyd Patton and wife Liz; one sister Joan Festervan.

Honoring the life of Floyd as pallbearers will be Bobby Bloxom, Kyle Waters, Jamie Burford, Floyd Patton III, Tucker Stewart, and Nathan Fluharty. Honorary pallbearers are BJ, Hunter, Mac, and David.
