Elizabeth Ann Meares

Elizabeth Ann Meares of Ringgold, LA passed away September 25, 2020 with her family by her side.  A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM, October 10, 2020 at 196 S Marie, Ringgold, LA. 

Ann loved working with flowers.  Ann was always working someone’s flower beds.  She loved watching plants grow and produce beautiful blooms of color.  She was a member of Piney Hills, Louisiana Master Gardeners.  More than anything, she loved watching her children and grandchildren grow up and blossom into adults. 

Preceding Ann in death is her husband, Alton W. Parker; and parents, George and Lillie Meares.  She leaves behind children, Andrew Parker, Amanda Parker-Collins and Shawn Parker; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other family members.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Regional Hospice for their care and support of Ann as she struggled with dementia.

Ann was a loving mother and friend to her family.  She will be great missed.
