Earl Rachall

Shreveport - Funeral services for Earl Rachall will be 11:00 AM, Monday, February 17, 2014 at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Forest Park Cemetery West. Officiating will be Brother Chad Hardbarger. The family will receive friends between 4:00 and 6:00 PM on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Boone Funeral Home, 3903 Meriwether Road, Shreveport. Earl, 74, passed away on February 14, 2014. He was surrounded by his loving family. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 52 years, Anne Rachall; children, Pamela Rachall, Diane Tisdale (Curtis), Lane Rachall (Angela); grandchildren, Amanda, Victoria (Jared), Abbigail, Forest, Taylor, and Kaleb; great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Brooklyn, Jonathan, Haden and Braxton. Earl loved LSU football and he loved his church family. For many years Earl played softball and coached baseball and softball. He touched many young adults by coaching baseball for boys and softball for girls. He was affectionately known as "the big man". Honoring Earl as pallbearers will be Carl Pettis, Ronnie Pettis, Wayne Morgan, Aaron Rachall, Jared Oates, Jeffrey Lynn Rachall, Richard Rachall and Casey Clark. Kamryn truly loved her "Poppop" and will miss him.
