Dylan Craig

Memorial services for Dylan B. J. Craig will be held 11:00, Thursday, April 30, 2009, at Salem Baptist Church in Stonewall. Officiating will be Bro. Stan McGee. God blessed us with Dylan on March 18, 2009 but God needed him in Heaven and took him home on April 26, 2009. He was with us for such a short time but has much greater things ahead of him with Jesus. Dylan was preceded in death by Great-Grandparents, Alvie and Emma Gasper, Great-Grandfather, Lawton Petty; Great-Great Grandmother, Edna Looney and cousin Joshua Bordelon. He shared his short life with his parents, Krystal and Steven Craig; sister, Iris Craig; Maternal Grandparents, Carol and Michael Sawyers; Paternal Grandparents; Eula and Earl Craig; Great-Grandparents; Thelma and Alvin Barlow, Betty Haley and, W.A (Buzz) and Edna Sawyers, Aunts, Kelly Anderson and husband Jeremy, Kimberly Hervey and husband Lamar; cousins, Lawton Hervey, Jacob Anderson and many other family members. Dylan?s father wrote this poem for him: I know that some things are meant to be, why it happens to children puzzles me. A sweet little baby with his future ahead, I figure God needed to use him instead. To join the other loved ones we?ve lost in the past. Materially gone but the memory lasts, as I visualize the little time he spent on this earth. Now up in heaven, no suffering or hurt, he brought us joy and our families together. Little Dylan will live on in our hearts forever.
