Douglas MacArthur Potter

Douglas M Potter lost his long time battle with Wagner's and went to be with the Lord. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Douglas M. Potter was born on April 6, 1942 in Huntsville, AL. He passed away on July 23, 2016 at Willis Knight-Bossier City, La. He was a Veteran of 20 years of the Air force. He was a Supervisor for Bossier Parks & Recreation for 20 years. Preceded in death by Father-Leroy Potter and Mother-Annie Mae Cagle Potter Survivors include; wife of 21 years: Terry Sampson Potter. Children include; Brian Ross and wife Christina Ross, Stephanie Mier and husband Kelby Mier, Jill Cheaney. Grandchildren include; Paige and Persayus Ross, Evan Mier, Trevor and Sadie Vize, Kayden and Rylan Caldwell. The most profound memories of Douglas M. Potter would be his faithfulness to the Lord, his love and faithfulness to his wife and children, his love for sports, his faithfulness to his job and co-workers, his sense of humor, never meeting a stranger and always putting a smile on someone's face. The family of Douglas M. Potter would like to acknowledge Mr. Larry Tucker, Administrator and the Staff at Cypress Point Nursing Home for their dedication and love towards him.
