Bossier City - Memorial services for Carolyn McKinley Prim will be 11:00 AM, Monday, November 30, 2015 at First United Methodist Church of Bossier, where she was a member of the Midyett Sunday School Class. Officiating will be Rev. David Dietzel.
Carolyn passed away peacefully November 26, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was a friendly person that never met a stranger, and most of her friends say they are a better person through her generosity and friendship. She was always more concerned about others than herself. Rather it be with her work through the Lions Club, Eastern Star, or cooking for her family, she always put others first.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and H.J. McKinley. She is survived by the love of her life for 52 years, Kenneth Prim, Sr.; sons, Kenneth Prim, Jr. and wife Sarah, and Bobby Prim and wife Carmen; daughter, Suzanne Lancaster; grandchildren, Garrett Lancaster, Kaelyn Prim; brother, Deane A. McKinley and wife Toni, and her dog, Mia.
The family request that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in lieu of flowers. Carolyn was a gift from God to her family and friends and will truly be missed. Rest in peace, Carolyn.
