Billy Hughes

Billy Mack Hughes August 1, 1941 – March 2, 2022 Billy graduated from Texarkana TX High School in 1959. He worked for Kansas City Southern Railroad (KCS) 1965 – 2000. He was preceded in death by his mother Maxine, father Bill, sister Margaret, and son David Bruce Hughes. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Sandy Hughes, daughter Cherelle Scogin (Jimbo), and son Clint Hughes. Also, stepdaughters Stacy Marquardt and Jenny Williamson (John) and stepson Brian Packer (Mary). He leaves seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, eight step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. There will be a memorial service at Boone Funeral Home on March 17, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 pm and a graveside ceremony at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens in Texarkana TX, on March 18, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Billy is gone but not forgotten!
