Ethan Allen Gillispie

Bossier - Today in loving memory, your daughter, Suzanne and your family say goodbye. Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Friday, May 19, 2017 at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Betsy Eves of St. Luke's Methodist Church. Allen proudly served his country during WWII receiving a Bronze Star and a Bronze Arrowhead. He later met and married the love of his life, Barbara Ann Franklin Gillispie. They were happily married for 52 years and had two children. Preceding Allen in death was wife, Barbara. Left to cherish many memories are children, Suzanne Powell and Michael Gillispie and wife Christine; Uncle Bud and Elizabeth; Claudia, Gary, and Kevin; and loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Allen was truly loved by daughter Suzanne who took care of him for many years. She will miss him dearly.
